Review: Laneige Trouble Spot Gel Cream

Before I review on skinfood face mask, I will first do a review on Laneige Trouble Spot Gel Cream which I bought together with Laneige Balancing Emulsion. You can find the review for the latter here. I was using the trouble spot gel cream one night and realized that I am about to finish. The a thought hit me 'I better do a review on it soon since it such a good product'. So here I am.

I bought this on impulse when I was in Korea in January since it was cheaper than in local. I did not do any research whatsoever. It surprisingly pretty good.

Review: Nature Republic Blemish Lab AC Moisturizer

Hey all! Sorry for the lack of updates. Honestly, I have lots of products to update but I just could not find the time to do. Today's review would be one Nature Republic Blemish Lab AC Moisturizer. I've used this for 8 months. This products line is actually the one that rescued my skin when I was super stressed last year.

Do you know that a breakout on your skin could be lack of moisture? Moisturizer can also prevent wrinkles. Yes that how important moisturizers are! In fact it is a must in your skin regime. So how to check if your skin has enough moisture? Slightly press on your skin (with clean hands of course), if there is slight bounce to your skin, your skin probably has enough moisture.

Back to the product I'm am about to review. What I like about this moisturizer, is that it is not oily at all. It is also light and smooth when apply on the skin. As you can see, the color is more translucent than those opaque white moisturizer thus does leave and residue on your face. The effect is quite immediate too. For those who are concerned about fragrance, yes it is fragrance free.

I'll rate is 5/5!

Review: Etude House AC Clinic Acne Foam Cleanser

This is what I'm gonna review today! I've always wanted to try this foam cleanser. Received this from my from my friend for quite some time already but only tried it recently.

Here is a closer look at the product. Etude House's products always has attractive packaging. Each range has their own unique distinctive packaging. People like tend to fall for their marketing strategy haha. This product is non-comedogenic; meaning it will not aggravate your acne.

Review: Mentholatum Acnes Medicated Point Clear

Remember I said I went on a drugstore haul, so Mentholatum Acnes Medicated Point Clear is part of the haul. I've tried some mentholatum products, they doesn't seem to work on my skin. Decided to give this a try because I couldn't find the pimple cream that I always used. My sister also said that she have seen this product in quite a few japanese magazines.

Ingredients~~
This acne medicated product (as stated from the packaging) is for pimple care + whitening + pore refining. It comes in a roll-on design which is great because I don't need to use my germy hand to touch my pimples when applying it (urggg I swear you wouldn't one to add more germy buddies on your pimples and let them party there).

This pimple medicated product is not rlly a cream. When I rolled on my skin a very watery liquid comes out. The liquid is transparent too which means you can use it while you're out without having white precipitate on your skin. My pimples starts to dry out a little (not completely) on my third consecutive day of usage. There is no visible change in my blemishes on the third day too. Maybe it needs more time to see visible change. I will rate this product 3.5/5. I find it effective but not strong enough. It takes too long to lighten blemishes and cure pimples. It is also a little pricey for its quality. I paid SGD 9.90 and I have used a better product which is much cheaper. I will review that product in the future *pinky promise*. Okay toodles for now :)

Review: NuTeen Sleeping Mask

NuTeen Tub

I'm on the roll today haha! Going to write a review on NuTeen Acne & Pimples Away Sleeping Mask. Bought this at Watsons after the salesperson introduced it to me. I was actually looking for NuTeen pimple cream, but it was currently out of stock during that time. Have been using it for months. So, I decided to post a review about it. As you can see from the picture above, the sleeping mask comes in a tub form and the back of the tub is direction on how to use it.

Description at the back.

The sleeping mask is in cream form. So, basically you have to use a stick or your finger to take some of the substance and apply it onto your face evenly before going to sleep. The cream is slightly translucent and greenish white. It has a distinctive smell that most NuTeen skin products have (you will recognize the smell if you have used NuTeen products before). I don't have much opinion about the smell. I neither like it nor dislike it.

Consistency of the cream

As you can see, there not much cream left inside the tub because I have been using it for a few months.

What I like about this product is that it gives a very cooling sensation on skin after applying it onto my face. It does not require you to keep it in refrigerator to provide you with the cooling effect. It kind of relaxes you skin. After using it several times, I can actually see redness of my acne reduced and it dry up some of my small pimples. According to the salesperson, the sleeping mask can actually treat your acne or pimple. However, I sincerely feel that the sleeping mask is only effective on small acne/pimple.
If you're looking for sleeping mask that relaxes and cool down you skin, I would recommend you this sleeping mask. But, it may not be a good product for those looking for treatment for you acne prone skin. I will rate this product 3.5/5.
